The City of Vista recently hosted a community workshop at Grapevine Elementary School to share conceptual designs and suggestions for improvements for the Bub Williamson Park on Grapevine Rd., first constructed in the 1980s. The workshop was intended to receive input from community members on how to upgrade the park.

The city will also be hosting two workshops for the design of Pala Vista Park on Pala Vista Rd. The first workshop will be held on March 15 at 6 p.m. and the second will be held on March 24 at 2 p.m. Both workshops will take place at the Vista Civic Center Morris B. Vance Community Room. Residents will have the opportunity to share their vision and ideas on what types of improvements they would like to see at the future park site. For more information visit or contact Tony Winney at
