The City of Vista’s Summer Movies in the Park returns on June 18 with a showing of The Goonies on the Buena Vista Park Ball Fields. The movie series is the perfect chance to enjoy a fun, free night with the family outdoors and under the stars. All movies begin at 8 p.m., so come early, bring a blanket, and a picnic if you wish. On July 16, the Summer Fun Fest kicks off at Brengle Terrace Park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with kids’ crafts and activities, and bounce houses. Stick around after the Fest to enjoy a showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Finally, the series comes to a close on Aug. 13 with Inside Out at Brengle Terrace Park.

Summer Movies in the Park is a collaboration between the County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation, the Cities of San Diego, Chula Vista, El Cajon, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, National City, Oceanside, Poway, San Marcos, Vista, USS Midway Museum, and the Port of San Diego.
